When living with a chronic condition, it can often be difficult to find medical care that you trust and that is affordable and accessible.

Patients Rising, an organization dedicated to patient rights, education, and advocacy for people with chronic conditions, is on a mission to change healthcare access and affordability. Founded in 2015, the organization has built a significant following of over 110,000 patients and caregivers. Together, they have helped patients and their loved ones get the care and treatments they need, focusing on a variety of chronic conditions.

Now, through a partnership with Bezzy PsA, these important conversations and resources have a home where people living with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) have access and can ask questions.

Bezzy, a Healthline Media brand, strives to cultivate a supportive community for people navigating chronic health conditions. We believe “community” is not just a place or a group — it’s a feeling and a tool that inspires all of us to live better every day.

Bezzy PsA is a free, online peer-support community where those with PsA can share their experiences with diagnosis and management in a safe place without fear of judgment.

With the new Patients Rising forum, Bezzy PsA members will have the opportunity to connect with patient advocates and ambassadors from the organization to discuss advocacy and accessibility of care and connect with others who get it.

“Patients Rising is very excited to be a part of the psoriatic arthritis community on Bezzy PsA. Our mission has always been about supporting patients in the ways they express, and the Bezzy PsA platform is a great platform for that kind of communication,” says Jim Sliney Jr., director of patient outreach at Patients Rising.

“We’ve even brought in one of the most vocal psoriasis advocates, Diane Talbert, to help us build this new relationship. We are confident that the missions of Healthline Media, Bezzy, Patients Rising, and advocates like Diane will serve the PsA community well,” Sliney adds.

In addition to a dedicated forum, the Bezzy PsA and Patients Rising partnership will feature biweekly live chats and stories of advocacy, education, and inspiration from the community.

If you’re living with PsA, you can join in by becoming a Bezzy PsA member, navigating to the Patients Rising forum, and introducing yourself.

We can’t wait to meet you there!
